Garden Design
The Working Plan
Once you have agreed with the concept plan and you are ready to proceed, I will draw up the working plan. This is a scale plan and will show the position of all features and plants within the garden with full specifications. A detailed planting plan with full planting lists will also be included. A further site visit will be required to produce these plans, and on more complex sites a surveyor may be required to provide accurate site surveys. Although I can recommend a surveyor, you as a client will need to employ the surveyor and pay them separately.
At this point, the basic garden design service is complete, and the plans can either be passed to a contractor or you may like to build the garden yourself.
The design service is flexible with the different levels of service to suit all budgets. We can discuss at the first meeting whether you wish to have a complete design, just a concept plan, or just a planting plan for an existing area.
Following the design, I will of course be available by phone, Email or through an on-site consultation should you need any further advice either immediately or in the future.
